— Revolutionary 2026

The 2026 International Roundtable

From October 8 to 10, 2026, Leipzig will become an international hub for democracy and civil society. Representatives from Europe and around the world will discuss democratic coexistence, civil resistance, and the interconnections between ecological, political, and social transformations. Under the motto“Democratic Memories. Democratic Futures,” the International Round Table will focus on historical achievements as well as current challenges facing civil society. From this, we will develop perspectives for shaping our future coexistence. The conference will be held in English.

Initiated by the Peaceful Revolution Foundation, the International Roundtable is a unique project designed to connect and empower local and international activists working for human rights and open societies, and to raise awareness of their causes. Participants from Germany, as well as from Belarus, Ukraine, Armenia, Georgia, and other post-communist countries, come together in Leipzig in a safe environment for a personal and intensive exchange. The program is accompanied by exhibitions and other public events.
